Tourist Promotion of Crete for 2013
Crete is one of the most attractive tourist destinations for Greeks and foreign visitors as it combines its glorious history and culture with the high quality services.
The geographical position of Crete between three continents made it for centuries why military conflicts and disputes among the powerful of each period. Result of this contact with the different cultures is that the inhabitants of Crete have developed a particular culture and lifestyle. The Cretans are known for their hospitality and the widespread Cretan diet – based on recent research is now proven that offers longevity and quality of life.
The Region of Crete in 2013, wanting to spread the Cretan hospitality worldwide under the tourism promotion of the island created two new commercials.
The two videos «Incredible History» and «Incredible Hospitality», have the signature of the famous director, Thodori Papadoulakis. These are shown worldwide through social media and Cretan websites, as well as the top travel TV channel, Travel Channel creating international interests.
